when an artist wants to show you their art

or a writer wants you to read what they’ve written

it’s quite often an expression of trust

because a poem or a story or a painting are often things that come from the heart

little pieces of the artists themselves

and if they’re willing to share it with you

you should appreciate it

OH LOVER BOY!

My mom is yelling at my brother and I overheard this.

  • Mom: GO TO YOUR ROOM
  • Brother: that's not fair
  • Mom: DO AS I SAY.
  • Brother: You never send Lizzie to her room when she's in trouble!!
  • Mom: Lizzie never leaves her room. If she were in trouble I'd make her sit in the living room or go outside or talk to human beings.
  • Me: I CAN HEAR YOU.

Just bought these beauties from asda for a fiver. That’s my evening sorted.

  • Soap: What was that? Armed? What do you mean armed? Armed with what?
  • Eddie: Err, bad breath, colorful language, feather duster... what do you think they're gonna be armed with? Guns, you tit!
